The HIV Stigma Clothesline Project

“Bearing witness to HIV stigma”

We combat stigma by sharing our stories. It takes courage & sometimes hurts to be vulnerable but that’s where change happens.

This art interventions was created to address HIV stigma and discrimination. It is an outlet for people living with HIV affected by HIV stigma to share their story and express their emotions. They then hang their story on a clothesline to be viewed by others as a testimony to the problem of HIV stigma.

There is also an opportunity for allies to participate, sharing instead what they have done or could do to stop HIV stigma or discrimination.

I will be creating an opportunity for people to contribute to this project digitally using a Google Form. Please come back!
